Anti-Racist Action

The following is an annoucement being circulated by local community groups in Greensboro, NC, as one response to an announced conference to be held by the National Socialist Movement.
"An anti-racist solidarity rally will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, August 29th. Meet at Hamburger Square, at the corner of McGee and South Elm in Greensboro. Bring your friends, bring your family, bring everyone. The more of us, the better.

This event coincides with the very probable National Socialist Movement (neo-nazis) Regional Conference in Greensboro on the same day. Also, November 3rd marks the 30 year anniversary of the Greensboro massacre. Let's let them know that Greensboro is not okay with racism and hatred. Our voices will be heard!

Stand together against racism, rally for unity! Bring your friends, bring signs, and be there at 3 PM on Saturday, August 29th. Fight hatred!"

Anti-Racist Action crews and affinity groups are being encouraged to come to town to help confront the National Socialist Movement. For more details, email NCantiracists@gmail.com and/or visit http://www.onepeoplesproject.com
